About Mrs. Levine

When I was a little girl, my younger sister always wanted to play “school."  She was the teacher, and I was one of her students. This imaginative play stuck with me, and when I went to college at Indiana University, I decided that I wanted to be the teacher.

I have spent 21 years working with students from 5th to 11th grades. I began my career teaching at Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.  I have taught middle school and elementary school as well. All of my former and current students are remarkable humans, and I have enjoyed working with them. I have discovered that while I love the literature and materials I taught in the upper grades, my real passion is helping my 5th grade students discover their love for language arts. In December 2021, I completed my Master’s in Elementary Education from the American College of Education, and I currently teach 5th grade language arts and social studies at the Seven Hills School.

In my spare time, you can usually find me in the kitchen. I enjoy cooking. My children have developed this same interest, and some of my favorite memories are times we have spent creating family meals together! I also love to travel and to read. Most recently, you can find me at home in the kitchen with my husband and two kids or curled up on the couch with Merlin and Ludo, our cats.
